I just got back from spain this morning and I am soo soo overwhelmed by all the responsibility and HOMEWORK and so much fucking things to DO.
I want to go back to La La land where the only concern is who to kiss next and which table to dance on.
I miss nicole like crazy. I felt like we were the same person. She's fun and adventurous and not scared of the consequenses. We're going to study abroad together and enter THE AMAZING RACE, which is where we will win a million dollars to travel the world. I looove love love her and all the stupid things we did together, and how we pretended we were lesbians for a night and all the guys at the club just stood in a circle around us to watch us dance together.
And Diego De La Cruz is an amazing boy.

I just had the best night I've had all year. I went to this latin nightclub called La Casona and salsa danced my ass off. The guys there were helping nicole and I learn and it was so cute because we were bad at the beginning, and then we got the hang of it and they were twirling and dipping us and it was so much fun. After we went to the bar and talked to this lawyer and he goes, "so how old are you?" So I tell him we're 18 and he goes, "What?! How the fuck did you get in here?" I don't know we just walked in? He offered to blow his credit card on buying us drinks, but I'm not that much of a drinker, and nicole was driving home on the ice so we took up a raincheck on that. apparantly it's 21+ but I made friends with the manager so I'm going every week now hopefully. Let me know if you want to take it up too.
Latin dance is my new favorite hobby, it's absolutly nothing like american freak dancing (which I'm not dissing, I love that too), but it's something I can do forever. As long as my feet don't hurt from dancing in heels :]

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I can't believe it's 2007. I'm so excited.
For christmas this year, my mom bought me a pair of seven jeans (size 24! which i can fit into againnnn im so happyyy:D). It's all i asked for. I'm really excited because i've basically been wearing the same pair of jeans for the last six months.
My new year's resolutions.
1. lose more weight. I really love losing weight. it's so simple, and it makes me feel so much more healthier. I want to tone my entire body and get rid of my gross arms.
2. clean out my life, get rid of all the stuff i never use.
3. teach people how to surf and skate. It's a lovely feeling and I want to share it more.
4. naomi kiyalah designs. and retail my clothing at Urban Pacific in honolulu. i've already spoken to them and they said they would sell my stuff along with a bunch of other local designers and companies.
5. Fashion for freedom. the peace propaganda art and fashion show at BHS proceeds benefiting the save darfur coalition, sometime in february.
6. stay singleeeeee.
7. get better at longboarding, and learn how to shortboard. spend as much time in the water as humanly possible :D
8. learn how to salsa, belly and hula dance.
9. make new friends.
10. get my license. HAH.
I'm happy more than ever now, most of it is thanks to Kai. I met him in Hawaii and he's such a sweetheart. He sends me care packages with bikinis, flower blossoms, chocolate covered macadamia nuts and seashells he finds when he goes surfing. I send him pictures and drawings. He really loves me, but not in the way any other guy in the world has ever loved me. It's fun because neither of us want to pursue a relationship. It's amazing. It's perfect. I've told him about all my dreams of becoming an ambassador, designer and free surfer, and how all of that is first in my life.
Love like a breath of fresh air.

how is it that i am more in debt after i get a job?

I went to GAP today and bought an INSPI(RED) t-shirt. 50% of the net profits go to AIDS prevention and treatment in Africa. SUPPORT! How could I resist? I love it so much, it makes me really happy because lately all these random people have been coming up to me and telling me I inspire them to make art. Which makes my soul want to sing. Maybe our world's got hope if we got sweet little hippies breeding in our nation.
I can't wait to get project SOUL on the road.
I just need to make some money off hemp bracelets to buy supplies to start printing shirts. I'm really excited. I just wish I knew where to go and what to do with all my ideas before I start scattering them. I wrote down a bunch of ideas and quotes i made up on dollar bills on the train to NY last week, and I'm rather sad because I spent it on that t-shirt. LOL.
Just thought I'd update. I don't usually have anything to talk about during my hibernation in New England :)

i went scavenging at all these vintage stores saturday, and i've never had so much fun shopping in my life. i got all these cool clothes, dresses, and jewlery from as early as the 50's and dropped all the money i had. it's okay though because i forgot to pick up last week's paycheck and there's $100 in there, which i am going to spend on my new lomography hobby and a new longboard :)
where do you guys get your hair done around here?
ive never had any sort of professional touch my hair, and im kinda nervous.

Last night was the spirit dance, so of course I went because I love shitty music and sweaty people. Juss talkin bubbles :) I love dancing though. Dancing with people is like having sex with clothes on (In the words of Ryan). I got there and I was drowsy from all the meds I've been consuming cause I've been feeling prettay nast from all the cold weather (I told McNulty im allergic to winter heh), and then around like 10:30 the drugs wore off and it was a bit insane. Krystie bet me a dollar for every random guy I'd go up to and dance with, and she owes me $15. Destinee says I dance like Shakira but it's only cause tha guuurl's a sexpot and I love shaking my hips in her general direction. They started playing better music at the end, possibly because they realized no one wanted to shimmycocopop to Bon Jovi. I want to be on homecoming committee so i can make them a playlist without any bluegrass :) I'll miss breaking it down with Dan Hagen though. He was a riot last year.
I actually bought a sweater today, and fashionista michelle said I looked cute in it when I went to pick up a job app. at Roger's, so I'm pretty satisfied with myself. :)

haven't really been uptah much latelyy. My birthday was splendid. I ate too much cake and i love my friends. I got my permit and am going to lessons at central. haha, now all i need is a job and i'm on my way to being a normal upperclassman! rajahdattt.
so today was decade day at school, and yesterday was clash day.

I talk so much about Hawai`i, and I know it's super obnoixous, but i cant help that it hurts so bad to not be able to be where I know I belong.
I miss being adored. I miss being able to make people's days. I miss the old man down the street who kisses my forehead and tells me I'm the most beautiful child he's ever met. I miss feeling warm rain on brown sugar, kona coffee skin, I miss the smell of coconut sunscreen and aloe vera, pineapple lotion. I miss my hair being wavy and sunkissed, I miss the sand in the shower, in my pockets and my bedsheets, I miss looking out the window and having the people across the street say "hello love" under the star freckled sky. I miss Andy's phone calls telling me to look towards Diamondhead on a pretty day because the sun caught the rain just right and theres a double rainbow to make me smile. I miss speaking japanese to the lost tourists who cant seem to find their way to the beach, and I miss the sun wrapping me in rays when I'm surfing in the oceans. I miss swimming at waikiki and having surfers mistake me for a mermaid. I miss finally feeling like im home. And it makes me so sad that its at least 365 more days without love until i can bring my shimmy cocopop back to paradise. |

Hawaii was fabulous. I made friends that are like family and i know for sure that Hawaii is where I belong. I can't wait for next year when I'm moving out there. The dating scene in Hawai'i is out of control. I can't walk down the street without someone asking me out, or for my number, or telling me that im beautiful. Maybe it's because i never stop smiling when I'm there, im just so in love with everything about that little island. I do believe that true beauty raidiates from the inside out. Anyways, I had the cutest summer fling there. ANDY <3333 ughhh haha. By the end of the first week, Morgan and I realized that we didn't have enough money to last the rest of the trip, so we got a job as booking agents for a company called Paradise Cruisers, which rents mopeds and scoot cars. That didn't bring in too much money, so I accepted an offer to model in a bikini for a calendar so I could have enough cash to eat and to buy a train ticket back home. I can continue modeling when I go to college next year to make easy money (60$ an hour), but I don't think modeling is really something I'd like to do. Surfing was hard. I was on a 6'0" fish and the waves were up to 7 foot faces sometimes. It was fun though. Everyone thought I was local, it was great. There were parties in our hotel some nights, so we went room hopping to meet people. I loved the freedom of being able to do what I wanted when I wanted. I loved feeling such a strong bond with a place where I could walk down the street and hug the friends that work there everyday. Even to go in surf shops and know the employees by name was such a sense of belonging that i've never felt in CT. No one treated me like I was 15, and I didn't act that way. I've kissed and hugged more people in the last 2 weeks then I have in my life. When we left, all the people on our street came out to say good bye. I want to go back. It's home there. kiss the ocean and sky for me, beautiful. morgan, andy, alain, john, pete, ryan, mike, rosemond, rob, kevin, kenny, dave, steve, jamie, shawn.
My hawaii ohana. I love you and miss you so much.
